IduScore turns routine blood markers and a short questionnaire into a clear, forward-looking wellbeing report. This page explains how the models were built, what data they use, how they were reviewed, and — just as importantly — what IduScore is not.
How the models were built
The data it uses
IduScore's scores come from statistical models developed on large-scale research data. Model development used separate training, validation and held-out test sets, so performance is measured on data the models never saw during training. Our current evidence base is a retrospective internal benchmark on UK Biobank held-out data — a directional check on stability and behaviour, not external or clinical validation.
IduScore works from the same kind of data labs already produce: routine blood markers plus a brief health and lifestyle questionnaire. No specialised or experimental testing is required. Each score reflects longer-term patterns in that data rather than a single day's readings.

The methodology was reviewed with senior biostatistics expertise to strengthen methodological rigour. IduScore's models are refined as methods and data evolve, and its scope is kept deliberately narrow so that what it measures stays clearly defined.
What IduScore is — and isn't
IduScore is an educational wellbeing tool. It is designed for people without an existing diagnosis in the area being scored. It is not a diagnosis, a screening test, or medical advice, and it should not be used to make medical decisions. If you have a health concern, speak with a doctor. Scores describe supportive patterns in your profile relative to research data — they are not predictions about any individual's future health.
